We were very impressed by the work Torben did for us. At the planning stage he converted our ideas into a design we were very happy with, whilst at the same time providing valuable input into what would work. He then proceeded to turn this into a finished product which fitted the space exactly and looks just as good as we had hoped. We have just recently had a project finished by Newlands Joinery and we are tremendously impressed with the final product. The finish is nothing short of perfection, right down to the finest detail. These guys really know their stuff and are well worth looking up.
Torben has made and fitted really beautiful french doors for my flat. I must say I am 100% delighted with them – and that’s not a rating I have ever made about other works I have had done here. Newlands did a fantastic job fitting the doors and cleared up so well too. I wholeheartedly recommend them and will call on them again for joinery work.
My Victorian cottage is in a conservation zone, and when the front was re-built, Torben replaced all the windows in hardwood, with monkey tail catches, and made a most beautiful front door, all in keeping with the Victorian period. He also made a new internal staircase, all perfectly fitted. His workmanship and attention to detail are excellent, and I would highly recommend him.
My windows and front door will last another 100 years!
The Newlands’ team did a fantastic job on my doors and windows. My house is grade 2 listed and as such we were limited with what we could get and Torben produced fantastic work. Even the council chap who cam to inspect after the install was impressed. 5 stars all round well done and thanks guys.
A beautiful window supplied for our Grade II listed house. The rotten window was removed and the new one expertly fitted in only a few hours. We were so pleased with the service and the work. Thank you!
Torben and his assistant expertly fitted a new back door for us. He sourced the door , helped us choose the partial glazing and it is now the best fitting door in our house! The work is of a very high standard and any mess was cleaned up and the old door removed. Torben takes an obvious pride in doing a job well and I would definitely book him for any further joinery work that needs doing.
Torben fitted a new front door at our home. I have to say it was worth the wait. The door is amazing, It is beautifully made and perfect in every way. The finishing is superb. My friends are envious !! I recently had a carpenter fit some shelves and he commented on the high quality of the door. Torben was patient with all my requests and involved me in the process. I even went to take a look at the door whilst it was being made to give my input.
Torben helped me with the design of my replacement French doors, which are beautifully crafted and I am extremely pleased with the result. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who appreciates fine workmanship but doesn’t want to pay exorbitant prices.
